## What to Expect

4 days | 1 day of online theory + 3 days of hands-on training (Bensheim)

The Advanced Module is designed for practitioners with prior endodontic experience who wish to expand their expertise to include retreatment and challenging, complex cases.

As with the other modules, the Advanced Module focuses on intensive personal guidance from both instructors. This allows even complex treatment scenarios to be analyzed in detail, discussed, and put into practice.

- **Retreatment diagnostics, prognosis assessment and case selection**
- **Clinical and radiological decision-making**
- **Removal of gutta-percha, Thermafil carriers and paste fillings**
- **Management of silver points, screws and intracanal posts**
- **Management of perforations and ledges**
- **Treatment of teeth after apicoectomy**
- **Management of canal obliterations**
- **Removal of separated file fragments**
- **Root canal filling after retreatment**
- **Error analysis and expert-level troubleshooting**

### Day 1

- 14:45–15:30 Theory: Eccentric Dental Radiographs
- 15:30–16.15 Hands-On: Eccentric Dental Radiographs incl. Coffee Break in the Foyer – incl. coffee break
- 16:00–16:45 Move to the Simulation Room, Introduction to the Units + Microscope, Handout of Materials
- 16:45–17:00 Instructor Demo / Review: Removal of Gutta-Percha + Thermafil Carriers
- 17:00–19:00 Hands-On: Removal of Old Gutta-Percha Fillings (incl. Thermafil Carriers)

### Day 2

- 09:00–10:15 Troubleshooting Gutta-Percha Removal, Review: Removal of Screws + Posts, Treatment of Teeth after Apicoectomy
- 10:15–13:00 Hands-On: Removal of Screws + Posts, Treatment of Teeth after Apicoectomy (Instructor Demo if Needed) – incl. coffee break
- 13:00–14:00 Lunch Break
- 14:00–15:15 Troubleshooting Removal of Screws + Posts + Treatment of Teeth after Apicoectomy, Review: Perforation Repair, Management of Ledges and Obliterations

### Day 3
