About This Course

What to Expect

Digital workflows are an integral part of modern dentistry. In addition to established subtractive processes such as milling, 3D printing is becoming increasingly important and expanding the possibilities for patient-specific manufacturing.

This 1.5-day intensive course provides practical training in the relevant basics and clinical applications of additive manufacturing.

In addition to a structured introduction to digital data acquisition using intraoral scanning, participants will gain an overview of basic design processes and the differences between subtractive (milling/grinding) and additive (3D printing) manufacturing technologies. The current applications in the field of 3D printing and the corresponding choice of materials will be presented. The aim is to provide participants with objective information about the various systems and possibilities.

The course focuses on the practical application of 3D printing in everyday dental practice.
