for Educational Courses and Training Programs
1. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all on-site courses, hands-on trainings, live online courses, webinars and digital learning content (on-demand) offered by:

The offers are directed exclusively to entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB (German Civil Code), in particular licensed dentists, physicians, dental practices and their employees acting in the course of their professional activity.
Contracts with consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB are excluded.
2. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of courses on the website does not constitute a legally binding offer.
By completing the booking process, the participant submits a binding offer.
The contract is concluded only upon acceptance by Munich Dental Academy GmbH.
All bookings are made in the exercise of a commercial or self-employed professional activity.
3. Course Fees and Payment Terms
The participation fee is due immediately upon booking.
Access to online content and reservation of a course seat will only be granted after full payment has been received.
All prices are net prices plus statutory VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.
4. No Right of Withdrawal
As the offer is directed exclusively to entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB, no statutory right of withdrawal applies.
5. Cancellation by the Participant
(On-site Courses and Live Online Courses)
Cancellations must be made in text form.
The following cancellation conditions apply:
– up to 8 weeks before the start of the course: free of charge
– up to 4 weeks before the start of the course: 50% of the participation fee
– less than 4 weeks before the start of the course: 100% of the participation fee
A substitute participant may be nominated at any time free of charge.
In case of non-attendance, no refund will be granted.
If a cancelled place can be filled by a participant from the waiting list, the cancellation fees may be waived at the organizer’s discretion.
6. Rebooking
A one-time rebooking to another course date is possible free of charge up to 14 days before the start of the course, subject to availability.
There is no legal entitlement to rebooking.
7. Digital Content (On-Demand Courses)
The service is deemed fully provided upon activation of access to the digital content.
From this moment on, cancellation or refund is excluded.
Access data is personal and may not be shared with third parties.
8. Live Online Courses
The service is deemed fully provided upon execution of the booked live session.
If access to the online event has been provided, no refund can be claimed regardless of actual participation.
9. Cancellation or Changes by the Organizer
Munich Dental Academy GmbH reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course for good cause, in particular in cases of:
– insufficient number of participants
– illness of the instructor
– force majeure
– technical problems in online formats
In such cases, participation fees already paid will be refunded in full.
Further claims, especially for travel, accommodation or loss of working time, are excluded.
10. Waiting List
If a course is fully booked, participants may register on a non-binding waiting list.
Registration on the waiting list does not constitute a binding contractual offer.
If a place becomes available, interested parties will be informed in the order of their registration.
A contract is only concluded when the participant accepts the offered place within the specified period and the participation fee is paid on time.
If no acceptance or payment is made within this period, the place will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
Registration on the waiting list does not create any legal entitlement to participation.
11. Program Changes
The organizer reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the program, schedule, venue or instructors, provided that the overall character of the event remains unchanged.
12. Certificates and Continuing Education Credits
Certificates of attendance will only be issued after full participation.
Continuing education credits will be awarded in accordance with the regulations of the relevant dental association where applicable.
13. Copyright and Rights of Use
All course materials, presentations, videos, photographs and digital content are protected by copyright.
In particular, the following is prohibited:
– sharing with third parties
– reproduction
– publication
– recording of online courses
– use for own teaching purposes
14. Photo and Video Recordings
Photo and video recordings may be made during the events.
These may be used for reporting and for marketing and promotional purposes of Munich Dental Academy GmbH in print and online media.
The participant may object to such use in text form.
15. Liability
Participation in practical exercises and hands-on courses is at the participant’s own risk.
Munich Dental Academy GmbH shall only be liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence.
In cases of slight negligence, liability shall be limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and to the foreseeable typical damage.
No liability is assumed for personal belongings brought to the event.
16. Data Protection
The separate privacy policy on the website applies.
17. Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction
German law shall apply.
The place of jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law, is Munich, Germany.
18. Severability Clause
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
