About This Course

About This Course

The secret of a successful anterior tooth restoration with composite fillings lies neither in the correct color selection nor in the use of a specific layering technique. Rather, we need to learn to simply look properly first.

Before starting the actual restoration with composite fillings, it is therefore important to recognize the diverse characteristics of a natural tooth and then transfer them to the work: For this purpose, the criteria of natural tooth aging are worked out and a checklist is derived from them, which the practitioner can check off point by point to achieve predictable results.

Non- and Minimally Invasive Aesthetics

Composite is also excellent for performing non- or minimally invasive aesthetic corrections of shape and position. The training for dentists demonstrates some of these techniques: diastema closure, correction of black triangles, small position changes, etc., up to complex reconstruction after anterior tooth trauma.

Posterior tooth filling from a functional-aesthetic point of view is also covered in the training.
