Adhesive Bridges
Adhesive bridges have become an integral part of minimally invasive treatment concepts in prosthodontics. In their metal-ceramic form, they are recognized in Germany as a standard treatment for replacing anterior teeth when adjacent teeth are caries-free.Particularly, single-wing all-ceramic adhesive bridges made of zirconia in the anterior region represent an attractive alternative to other, often more invasive treatment approaches, due to their favorable long-term clinical outcomes. This applies to both young and adult patients. The aim of this course is to provide participants with a practical, easy-to-implement treatment concept for the use of adhesive bridges that takes aesthetic and functional principles into account while ensuring long-term stable restorations.Using numerous clinical examples, the course offers a step-by-step update on various indications and contraindications, pretreatment, preparation, fabrication, and adhesive cementation. In addition, soft tissue management for ovate pontics and innovative combinations with veneer techniques will be presented. The hands-on section, including preparation exercises and practical tips for adhesive cementation, helps participants incorporate the acquired knowledge directly into their daily clinical practice.
